The Pikeland School District is pleased to announce that Jacklyn Feldpausch has earned National Board Certification. Mrs. Feldpausch is an English teacher at Pittsfield High School.
National Board Certification is a respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students and schools. The certification process is designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.
Seeking National Board Certification is a rigorous process requiring teachers to analyze their teaching practices and impact on student learning, to take on leadership roles and to collaborate with their peers. It takes a significant commitment of time outside the teacher’s regular classroom responsibilities. Upon certification, teachers are required to maintain this recognition through a rigorous renew process.
In earning this honor, Mrs. Feldpausch joins two other Pikeland teachers who have either earned or are currently aspiring to earn this recognition:.
